Each Masonic ledger inside the Masonic Library in Philadelphia includes records of members from across the state, some of which date back to the beginning of Freemasonry in Pennsylvania. As more and more people access these historic documents, oils, dirt and debris from handling will degrade the pieces over time. This may cause the pages to eventually become illegible, erasing the content forever. Gifts to this fund will help index and digitalize 42 of these ledgers, so they are searchable and accessible to the public. This is a large undertaking, as one ledger can contain up to 800 pages.

Your contributions are used for the general operations and programs of the Masonic youth groups (DeMolay, Job’s Daughters and Rainbow for Girls) in Pennsylvania.
